Tapologo River Lodge is offered on an exclusive-use basis, giving your group complete privacy, flexibility and personal service throughout your stay.

Rates are quoted per lodge, per night in USD, according to the number of guests staying. A minimum two-night stay applies. Rates are fully inclusive as detailed below and are valid for both 2027 and 2028, subject to availability.

Children
Tapologo welcomes children aged 10 years and older.

Children under 10 may be accepted by prior arrangement for exclusive-use stays. As Tapologo is situated within an unfenced wildlife reserve, children must remain under close adult supervision at all times.

Children up to and including 12 years of age receive a 25% reduction from the equivalent adult rate.

Some activities, including rhino tracking and wilderness sleep-outs, have a minimum age of 12 years and remain subject to the guide’s assessment and applicable reserve safety requirements.

Community & Conservation
Tapologo is part of a living conservation landscape and we believe tourism should contribute positively to the wilderness and communities surrounding us.

5% of net guest revenue is allocated to our MOTSE community and wildlife conservancy initiatives, supporting local health, education, conservation and community enterprise.

Deposits & Payment
A 25% non-refundable deposit of the total accommodation charge is required within 14 days of making a provisional reservation.

The outstanding balance is payable no later than 60 days before arrival.

Bookings made within 60 days of arrival require full payment at the time of confirmation.

Any additional charges incurred during the stay must be settled before departure.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations:

90–61 days before arrival: 35% of the total booking value
60–31 days before arrival: 65% of the total booking value
30 days or less before arrival: 100% of the total booking value
All cancellations and amendments must be made and acknowledged in writing.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, travel disruption and loss of personal belongings.

Rate Changes
Published rates may be amended without prior notice. Rates for confirmed bookings will be honoured.

Payment Information
Payment details will be provided with your booking confirmation.

All bank charges are the responsibility of the guest or travel company making the payment.

General
All stays and activities are subject to availability, prevailing weather and wildlife conditions, reserve regulations and safety considerations.

 Tapologo is situated within the fenced Limpopo-Lipadi Private Wildlife & Wilderness Reserve. Tapologo River Lodge itself is unfenced, allowing wildlife within the reserve to move freely through the lodge grounds. 

The laws of the Republic of Botswana apply to all bookings and transactions.
